Actor Shah Rukh Khan, who’s known to be accident prone, has hurt his ribs this time around, while vacationing In Dubai with his children and wife, Gauri. The holiday was a respite from a hectic back-to-back promotions of his recent films Ra.One and Don 2.

 

A source close to the actor says, “Shah Rukh has been working round the clock from the past couple of months. He wanted to take a break to spend some time with his kids, Aryan and Suhana. He misses spending time with them and this four-day break to Dubai is only for his kids. He partied on New Year’s Eve at his villa on Palm Jumerah with close friends from his fraternity like Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar. Thereafter, he has been spending time with his children, playing midnight soccer and riding ATVs. He hurt his ribs during a game of soccer.”

 

Shah Rukh even tweeted about getting even with his kids, while he was playing soccer with Suhana. “Awesome fun with kids on the beach...atv rides...fights in the sand...temple run game...but think I overdid the fights...aching all over.” And now that the actor has hurt himself, he has no choice but to rest.Upset at his holiday plans going awry, Shah Rukh posted on Twitter, “Have hurt ribs. Holiday soccer career nipped in the bud...bah!! Now to indulge in reading & videogames. Hurts only when I laugh or breathe.”
