Director Vipul Shah’s wife and Bollywood actress Shefali Shah is all set to don a glam avatar in her upcoming movie ‘Kucch Luv Jaisaa’ opposite talented actor Rahul Bose. Reportedly, known for her critically acclaimed roles in movies, including ‘Waqt-A Race Against Time’, ‘Satya’ and ‘Gandhi, My Father’, she has always wanted to portray a glamorous and sexy role, and she thinks that her dream has been fulfilled with her husband’s next film.
Having lost many kilos, she will give competition to some of the leading ladies of filmdom in the movie, which sees her play the role of a desperate housewife, who gets bored of her life and falls in love with a criminal played by Rahul.
Talking about her movie during a promotional event at Ahmedabad, the actress said, “My character doesn't tell one to be rebellious. More than someone else it is important to have a relationship with yourself.”“It is important to love yourself and if you don't love yourself then no one else will love you too. We remove lot of time to love others — first we should remove time to love our self," she quipped.
Filmmakers typecast actors Upbeat about the movie that will hit the silver screens on May 27, this Tinsel ville actress feels that once an actor has played a role in this industry, then the filmmakers expect the actor to take up similar roles.
The Times Of India quoted her as saying that filmmakers feel that intelligent, thinking actors could not be glamorous, act sexy or dance, but she was going to break this ideology with her latest character.
The buzz is that not only has Shefali shed her shy image in the movie and donned some breathtaking clothes, but she has also done some hot and raunchy scenes.
No on-screen kissing for Shefali Though the actress has done some very bold scenes in her next, she has decided not to do any kissing scene in movies.
"I have always gone with the demand of my character in the film, and here my role required me to look sexy and glamorous. But the scenes are dealt with deftly. If my children saw the film I won't be embarrassed and I am glad that I did the film," said Shefali.
