Minissha certainly isn’t going to forget her maiden visit to Cannes in a hurry. Though she made a stunning appearance on the red carpet, her return to Mumbai was marked with one unfortunate event after another.

First she lost a part of her baggage at Nice in France. Then, when she landed in Mumbai she was detained for carrying undeclared jewellery worth many lakhs (estimates say Rs. 50 lakhs) in her luggage.

She was detained and questioned for 16 hours. Minissha said she took the whole experience in her own stride and instead of panicking just chilled out. Minissha is quoted as saying that she regaled the airport authorities, particularly her interrogators, with the tales of her Cannes experience, and they too joked and tried to make her at ease.

Minissha added that she has learnt from the whole experience and has no bad feelings towards anyone. And the positive attitude has come good, for her lost baggage at Nice has been found and sent to her in Mumbai.
