The change in perception has come about after the promos of her upcoming film Players went on air. The promos show Sonam as a feisty girl with devil-may-care attitude and a few seduction tricks up her sleeve. To Sonam’s surprise, people have now begun to compliment her as sexy.

“Can you believe people are calling me sexy. I don't know where to look when they call me that. I am like 'really me?',” Sonam Kapoor said at the launch of a new programme Super Santa for UTV. Though surprised, Sonam can’t deny that she likes being called sexy.

“I don't know yaar, maybe I am like one of those girls. But it's nice to hear it for the first time in my life,” she added. Sonam went on to say that the credit for turning her sexy in ‘Players’ goes to her sister Rhea Kapoor. “It's all because of my sister. She has very carefully chosen clothes for me. It's not typical sexy, but it is like edgy sexy," said the 26-year-old actress. The coming days would see Sonam Kapoor getting busy with the promotions of Players until the film’s release on January 6.
