Bollywood style icon Sonam Kapoor has stuck to her reputation of being a motormouth once again. The Kapoor lass created a storm on Twitter on Monday when she said she hated Mumbai. "Its impossible to live in Mumbai. I hate it," she tweeted on her handle @sonamakapoor between 4-4:30 pm. The tweet led to a deluge of reactions from her followers on Twitter, most of them damning though some 'tweeple' agreed and welcomed the Aisha star to their own cities.
"Because of Mumbai u r a big star.n had an entry in Bollywood....., " @Rahilparkar tweeted back. "You don't live in Mumbai, anyway. You live in a dream world created by Bollywood," commented @hitwit_subroto. "if u hate mumbai den better be going...," said @AbdulRahimShama.
Other followers like @CHEVPRO11 and @ramesh_chh volunteered alternatives like New York and Kutch, respectively. Having realised her folly, Sonam apologised for the offending tweet. "Okay the traffic has driven me crazy. I actually luv mumbai but hate the roads," she tweeted again.
But the hurt Mumbaikars don't seem to be in a forgiving mode. "y u change ur stament? U nw afraid of shivsena? And u cant drive in traffic ji," @PshycoPaaji tweeted on the actor's apology. The star had earlier landed in a soup when she got embroiled in an ugly tweet fight with veteran columnist Shobhaa De. Wonder where this latest online misadventure will land her.
