Shonali was among the 14 contestants who entered the show and survived many evictions even as all other housemates, except Juhi Parmar, were evicted one by one. Now, Juhi is the contestant who has stayed the longest in Bigg Boss house this season.

Usually a calm person, Shonali has had a few tiffs with her co-participants Pooja Misrra, Siddharth Bharadwaj and Akashdeep Saigal. But she was blamed many times for being a gossipmonger. She also became the house captain twice. Though she survived many evictions in the past, she couldn't escape the latest round, in which she was nominated alongside Amar Upadhyay.

Interestingly, Shonali is out just in time to celebrate her birthday on December 20. After her eviction, Shonali has blamed the boys in the house for spoiling the atmosphere. When the show started, there was only one male, Shakti Kapoor, in the house. Subsequent weeks saw the entry of Amar, Siddharth and Sky. Shonali added that she doesn’t trust or respect Amar Upadhyay as an individual.
