She made her acting debut back in 2006 in the Kannada film Aishwarya. She since won the ‘Filmfare Best Female Debut Award’ for her Hindi film debut blockbuster Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

MD Frank Khalid welcomed her with a bouquet of flowers which she was very pleased to receive. He said; “It was a privilege to have such a talented and beautiful actress visit us here at Chak89.
