Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra, actor-director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani will participate in a public interactive session as part of the eighth Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
The interaction on Thursday is part of DIFF's celebration of Indian cinema. The 'Don 2' team will also present a special preview of the upcoming film. With a wide fan-following across the Arab world, Shahrukh's appearance is his second outing at the festival, having earlier been honoured for his contribution to cinema by DIFF.
Sidhwani, who joined hands with Farhan to launch Excel Entertainment, is the co-producer of several award-winning and critically acclaimed films such as 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Lakshya', 'Rock On', 'Karthik Calling Karthik' and 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.
The 'Afternoon With' conversation session precedes the Thursday night world premiere of romantic comedy 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, and directed by Maneesh Sharma. DIFF is held in association with Dubai Studio City and is supported by the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
