They became the hottest pair of 2010 post the super response their film Band Baaja Baaraat got.Both actors Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh became hot property and one of the reasons that added to their appeal was the sizzling chemistry between the two both on and off screen. Amidst rumours of a real-life romance between the two came a new angle in the form of newbie Sonakshi Sinha, when she performed with Ranveer at an awards event abroad. Since then Anushka has been denying any kind of romancebetween her and Ranveer. Though the cracklingpair will soon be seen in their upcoming, sources say that it’s not the same as it was between the two when they shot their first film together.

Ask Ranveer if it helps to work witha ‘good’ friend like Anushka, and he says, “Yes, I feel so as she was the first actor I worked with. And since she had already worked in films before my debut, I got to learn a lot from her. We are very good friends. In fact, I can confide in her and share my feelings. She did play an instrumental role as far my work is concerned. It’s fun to work with her.” However, when Anushka was asked the same, she retorts, “I don’t think so. I didn’t know him so well while working on Band Bajaa Baaraat, but now after two-and-half years too, I think how well I know a person hasn’t made it any different while working. I didn’t even know Shah Rukh Khan personally while working on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, but the film was a hit! So knowing Ranveer or not doesn’t make any difference to my work.”

Though sources close to the stars claim that Ranveer still has a soft corner for his co-star, unlike Anushka. The source says, “Both have to make joint appearances to promote the film, and they do so as they are thorough professionals. But unlike before, the distance between the two is very apparent. Now that Ranveer is doing a film with Sonakshi next, it has only added to the awkwardness, which is why Anushka is keeping a distance from Ranveer.”
