It was almost as if the golden decades of the 60s, 70s and 80s had come alive once more. With over a hundred musicians on stage recreating the music of Laxmikant Pyarelal, the audience couldn't have asked for a more melodious evening. They broke into a thunderous applause as Sudesh Bhosle sang Jumma Chumma and when Kavita Krishnamoorthy crooned Hawa Hawaii once again.
Sonu Nigam was greeted with cheers as he sang some of Mohammad Rafi's evergreen classics. Pyarelal hugged young Siddhant Bhosle (Sudesh's son) as he too mesmerised the audience with his voice.
