He may have done it quite a couple of times before in movies such as Laawaris, Toofan, Silsila, Baghban but Amitabh Bachchan is thinking twice before repeating it in Buddah Hoga Tera Baap.
The 'it' refers to the superstar singing for himself here! Who can forget the actor singing the cult Holi song 'Rang Barse' or even the touching 'Main yahaan tu waha' from Baghban! The actor was in fact, first of his kinds who attempted singing for himself.
Amitabh is however wary of singing again in his forthcoming film 'Buddah Hoga Tera Baap' where music director duo Vishal Shekhar has requested the actor to lend his baritone voice for a song.
"So Shekhar, of Vishal and Shekhar, have composed something that caused each one that heard it, the goose phenomena. And now that it is done, comes the improbable part. They want me to sing it! And this is where things shall go horribly wrong. I am trying to resist this compulsion from them and find myself losing at the moment, but I know for sure that I will remain in that state and lose. May God help all the music purists in bearing up with me and for overlooking this great farce that is about to take place over the weekend" said the apprehensive actor.
Abhishek impressed his fans and critics too as he rapped 'Ek main aur ke tu hai' in Bluffmaster and then 'thai thai' in his latest 'Dum Maaro Dum'... seems like Amitabh is all set to steal Abhishek's thunder!
