It was around six years back that things apparently became ugly between actors Salman Khan and John Abraham, when the two were on a Bollywood performances world tour. Matters worsened  when they worked together in Babul, also starring Rani Mukerji, and their off screen animosity somewhat reflected in their onscreen performances too. However, it seems that the Bollywood Bodyguard and B-Town’s Biker Boy finally decided to let bygones be bygones, as they recently were seen hugging and chatting on a reality show.

An insider says, “Yes things were definitely not great between both the actors and it wasn’t any secret. They were apparently not too happy with their girlfriends or good friends working with either of them, as well. Bipasha  Basu however did work with Salman, while Katrina Kaif worked with John.” But now it seems like they have ended their animosity for good, not only for the camera, but off it too. Salman and John seemed quite pally on a reality show, as well as another awards function recently. “They met like old friends, chatted and hugged each other. They even had their food together much after the shoot was over,” reveals an insider.

If sources are to be believed common friends and actors Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar may be responsible for the patch up. “Both Akshay and Sanju are very close to Salman and also John. So one cannot deny the possibilty of them playing peacemakers in this situation. Also both Akshay and Sanju are John’s co-stars in the upcoming film. So may be they wished that it was high time that John and Salman too become friends,” say industry insiders.
