It can be tricky when one has to perform in front of your ex, especially when you haven’t parted on good terms. Recently John Abraham was in a similar situation because of friend and co-star Akshay Kumar. At an award function held at a film studio last week, John Abraham and Akshay Kumar were performing their ‘Desi Boyz’ act on the stage. Part of the act involved the two going down the stage and performing with the audience. All was ok till John was pulled by Akshay in front of Bipasha Basu.

Speaking to a daily, a source informed, "Akshay was shuttling between the audience and the stage during the performance. He first went to Shah Rukh Khan who was sitting next to Rekha. He then moved on to his ‘Ajnabee’ co-star Bipasha Basu. Akki sat down next to Bipasha and gestured towards his co-actor John."

Poor John had no choice but to join Akki in the act. "John came and stood with Akshay but he was visibly uncomfortable. While Akshay danced to the ‘Desi Boyz’ number, John just stood there and watched. He then tried to pull Akki back on the stage," added the source. The signature pelvic thrust that the boys were required to do left John in an uncomfortable situation in front of his former girlfriend.

Earlier, Akshay had also made John sit next to Salman while shooting for ‘Bigg Boss’. The two have always shared cold vibes and thanks to Akshay, John was uncomfortable throughout the show. While John maintains that Akshay and he share a special bond, surely he would have lots to say to Akki for leaving him a in a tight spot twice in a row.
