There have been too many speculations lately about Bipasha Basu and Shahid Kapoor's on-off relationship. According to our sources, apparently Shahid is still nursing wounds from his last relationship. And that is why he is in no mood to make a commitment to Bips right now.

Says a source, "Bipasha and Shahid really like each other and they wanted to take it a step ahead. But he is still not ready to get into a full-fledged relationship at this point." Before this, Sasha was seen painting the town red with Priyanka Chopra, but that relationship went kaput early this year. "His friendship with Priyanka was very tumultuous. There was a lot of passion, but the many break-ups they went through took a toll on him. He is yet to get into that space where he could completely commit to someone."

As for Bips, she is for the time being seeking solace in the arms of Rana Daggubatti who supposedly is no more than a friend." Adds the source, "Apparently, Bipasha confided in a friend recently, saying that Rana was a close friend and Shahid needs some more time from her." We think there's little that can heal a broken heart than love itself.
