Mumbai Test Live: WI dominate India, cross 450-run markWest Indies were dictating terms as the scorecard went past the 450-run mark. It was a super display by the visitors that was supported by lacklustre bowling by the Indians. Dhoni tried using a number of bowlers including part timers Sehwag and Tendulkar to get a breakthrough, but to no avail. Meanwhile, Kieran Powell had also joined the ranks of all the other batsmen who scored a fifty in the Test.

The visitors surely gave a spirited display of their potential with every batsman scoring atleast a half century on a rather placid track and uninspiring bowling. Just before the first session of play had eneded, Darren Bravo made his presence felt at the Wankhede Stadium with a century that bolstered the West Indies to 378/3 at lunch on Day 2. The morning session was clearly dominated by the West Indies batsmen who ensured the compilation of steady runs.

The only consolation of the morning was when pacer Ishant Sharma came up with a terrific short of a length delivery to get rid of Kirk Edwards (86). The batsman edged the ball into the hands of MS Dhoni as the scorecard read 314/3 with the first wicket of the morning.

Bravo and Edwards began the second day of the final Test match against India hoping to set a big total. Both the half-centurions had their eye set-in and wanted to end the tour on a high note. Not much was on offer for the bowlers in the pitch as Varun Aaron tried to get his first Test scalp, but to no avail.

Pragyan Ojha also tried to spin some breakthroughs but the batsmen read the trajectory well, spanking the odd ball for a boundary. West Indies took honours on Day 1 of the final Test against India with a disciplined batting performance that saw the scorecard at 267/2 at stumps. The West Indies top order clicked on the opening day and was helped by the pitch that had no assistance for the bowlers.

Ashwin was the only bowler who caused some problems to the batsmen and his counterpart Pragyan Ojha would like to claim a few for himself as well. India dropped some catches that could have been more than useful on the first day and they looked to put in a better performance in the morning session of the second day.
