Perhaps here’s something to learn from former actor-couple Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. Ever since the two exes have signed for a film together, they have been talking unabashedly about each other. The same however doesn’t seem to be true about actors Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh.

The two apparently had a break-up some time back and haven’t spoken about it since then. But according to the gossip mills, Anushka and Ranveer are having issues making public appearances together. According to sources, the two didn’t exactly want to come together on stage recently too, while promoting a film in which they star together.

“It seems Anushka and Ranveer’s break-up has also come in between their professional front. Recently, when the two actors had to host a small segment for (an awards function) held in Mumbai, they refused to talk to each other except for the part where they had to host the show together,” says a source. Last Tuesday, gossip websites were abuzz with the news that the two were looking distraught on the stage and stood apart from each other. Their body language, according to sources, was also stiff and very formal.

“The wonderful chemistry that the two actors had, was visually missing. While they tried their level best to be professional in their work, the tension between them was very obvious and was observed by one and all,” the source adds. Anushka and Ranveer have both indicated that they have moved away from each other. “They are now promoting a movie together and both have to make joint appearances. They are professionals and they know that they have to make appearances together. But all of us associated with the promotions know that there’s considerable tension between the two of them. Also, we know that they won’t come together in any future movie again. At least for the time being,” the source reveals.
