After persistently hogging the headlines for its entire five-year run, popular reality TV show Bigg Boss may soon be immortalized in celluloid. And toying with this ambitious idea is none other than the quintessential khiladi Akshay Kumar.

The Desi Boyz star has announced his plans to produce a film based on Bigg Boss, under his banner Hari Om Productions. The project is being pegged as a crime thriller and will feature a dozen-odd actors along with Akshay. "The film will be shot on just one set, exactly like the show. Akshay will probably essay the role of the show's host," a source said.

The buzz is that it will narrate the story of a crime that is committed in the house and gets recorded on camera. Owing to the circumstances, everyone in the house becomes a suspect.
