Friday night saw actor John Abraham step out with rumoured girlfriend Priya Marwah for an event held in the city. While so far the actor has maintained that he is single, buzz is that the actor may finally be ready to go public with the new girl in his life, who is said to be an investment banker by profession. While the two have been seen sharing cozy lunch and dinner dates, this was the first time that the two made a public appearance together, indicating that they may finally be ready to take their relationship to the next level.

According to a guest present at the do, John was extremely protective of her right from the time he came in. “Both of them came in together, but while John stepped out for the shutterbugs, Priya headed straight inside. John joined her within a few minutes, though the two stayed together all through the evening and seemed rather comfortable in each other’s company,” revealed the guest. “While there wasn’t too much of a PDA, their body language definitely suggested that they are a couple,” the guest added.

“While leaving the two chose to make a hasty exit by trying to leave from the back exit. On spotting the crowds present there too, John put an arm around Priya protectively, but refused to pose for the cameras, escorting her quickly to his waiting car,” said a source also present at the venue.
