Sources informed Mumbai Mirror, Rohit Shetty has approached Salman Khan’s ex-girl for his next action film starring Shahrukh Khan. But, it won't be an easy job to get SRK since she would have to face a tough competition from Kareena Kapoor as well.

Kareena, after her role in Ra.One, opposite to Shahrukh is now again trying hard to get another chance to work with the King of Bollywood. “Kareena has worked with SRK in Asoka and RA.One. She shares a good on-screen chemistry with him. Also, director Rohit Shetty is very fond of her”, the source said.Despite Kareena being a strong contender for the role, a section of the industry believes that Katrina’s friendship with Rohit Shetty might just pay off.
