Esha Deol may have been missing from Bollywood, but she’s definitely not been missing from the news. Rumour mills are abuzz with news of the actress being secretly engaged to businessman, Bharat Takhtani. Interestingly, the news has come in just before the release of Esha’s comeback film Tell Me O Kkhuda, which releases this week. Even after repeated attempts, Esha and Hema Malini, both seem to be in no mood to confirm or deny the news.

Most of the Deols are part of Tell Me O Kkhuda. Hema Malini directed the film and Dharmendra acted in it along with his daughter Esha. “Ours is an emotional family. I had great fun working with the whole family, but we also cried at times. Shooting together was like a family picnic. The film has made our bond stronger,” says Esha. Salman Khan has a cameo in the movie. Hema Malini ensured he looked gorgeous and he has a happening song with Esha.

“I was not at all shy merely because mom loves me in this sexy avatar. To tell you the truth it was mom who asked me to pose in a different manner. My mom even gave inputs to the designer,” says Esha. Hema Malini is a tough director. Esha says, “My mom is a hard task master, both at home and on the sets. She even looks into the post production,” adds Esha. Talking about sharing screen space with her dad, Dharmendra, she says she got the benefit of his advice. “I am very happy to have worked with papa as he would never stop giving me tips,” she adds.

In the film, Dharmendra plays a don and while Esha has her fondness for Amitabh Bachchan and SRK as dons, she feels her dad is best at it. “Obviously I think papa is the best don!” says Esha. Reportedly, the movie is said to be similar to Dil Ashna Hai, where a daughter searches for her mother. But Esha says, “The movie is not similar to any movie. This movie shows the relation of a father and daughter. My dad and I are cry babies, so we loved the script.”
