Bollywood's going to have a cool presence at the Dubai International Film Festival 2011 - 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma, will have its world premiere during the eighth edition of the fest in December.

The rom-com, produced by Yash Raj Films, will be the red carpet gala of the Festival’s Celebration of Indian Cinema programme on Thursday, December 8, 2011. It reunites the Ranveer-Anushka pair with director Maneesh Sharma after their 2010 hit 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. Star watchers, take note: the cast and crew will walk the red carpet before the gala screening at the Madinat Arena! 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' is the story of suave and charismatic conman Ricky Bahl (Ranveer), who makes a living by deceiving women until he meets his match in the form of Anushka's character.

Dorothee Wenner, Consultant for the Subcontinent Programme, Dubai International Film Festival, said about the choice of the movie for the fest: "The premiere of 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' is a scoop for DIFF, and will appeal not just to the expatriate community but also to Arabs who have a strong affinity for Bollywood films.
