Everyone is in a joyous mood and most are celebrating this special day with their families, and a number of celebrities wished a Happy Diwali to their fans on Twitter, some even sending out a word of caution to their fans. Preity Zinta who is happy to be at home, says, "Happy and a safe Diwali to all my friends all over the world! Time for Lakshmi Puja, yummy Indian sweets and finally Home sweet home."

Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand is hard at work, she is in Los Angeles working on her music album and missing her family, "I wanna wish everyone celebrating Diwali anywhere in the world lots of love and togetherness. I miss my family today... thank god I have you guys," tweeted Priyanka.

Bipasha Basu, asked everyone to be careful and responsible, "Be careful today, as, in the name of celebration, we get carried away! Everything should be done in moderation! Be responsible!
