Happy Diwali wishes from BollywoodEveryone is in a joyous mood and most are celebrating this special day with their families, and a number of celebrities wished a Happy Diwali to their fans on Twitter, some even sending out a word of caution to their fans. Preity Zinta who is happy to be at home, says, "Happy and a safe Diwali to all my friends all over the world! Time for Lakshmi Puja, yummy Indian sweets and finally Home sweet home."

Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand is hard at work, she is in Los Angeles working on her music album and missing her family, "I wanna wish everyone celebrating Diwali anywhere in the world lots of love and togetherness. I miss my family today... thank god I have you guys," tweeted Priyanka.

Bipasha Basu, asked everyone to be careful and responsible, "Be careful today, as, in the name of celebration, we get carried away! Everything should be done in moderation! Be responsible! Guys go slow on the sweets! If u eat its fine, don't overeat! Get back to exercising post Diwali! Same goes for me as I have a crazy sweet tooth!," tweeted Bipasha. "Happy Diwali to all my lovely tweeple...Have a happy n safe Diwali," actress Amrita Arora said. "May the shagun of the choti divali be with you always," Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog.

"Happy happy Diwali, beautiful people, wish u all, all the happiness, brightness, health, wealth and lots of love," tweets Arjun Rampal. "Torans, diyas, puja, food, mithai, new clothes, visiting friends and family. Happy Diwali," director Kunal Kohli said. "Make an enemy a friend...Make a parent proud... Make your love...Love you more...Bring the weekend energy into your week! Be happy...This Diwali!," filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted.

Vivek Oberoi says, this Diwali, may your lives be filled with love, light and happiness! Wishing you all and your families a very happy and prosperous year ahead! "I wish a tragic Diwali to all your enemies and hope that their eardrums will shatter their fingers will burn and their happiness becomes empty," said Ram Gopal Varma. "May the lights of Diwali lead us to the path of prosperity and progress, peace and love," said lyricist Javed Akhtar.

"Having a wonderful festive season... Haapppeeeee Diwali everyone!! Big big smile. Am on my way to the local bazar to buy lights garlands lamps flowers rangolis... So excited about diwali... Southern actress Shriya Saran tweeted, "May the festival of lights bring you love happiness success peace laughter and good times! Happy Deepawali." "On my way to spend a quiet pollution free Diwali in Alibaug with my dad. Can't say the same thing about hogging the Diwali sweets though," Shazahn Padamsee said.
