Abhinay Deo who directed movies like Game, Delhi Belly feels that it is about time the Khans work on diverse themes than what they have done so far. “The three Khans are ruling the industry. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir have got their own audience and are known for their particular genre but I feel they should experiment by altering their genres. It will be great thing for the audience to see their favorite Khan experimenting with their genre,” says Abhinay.

The director who has worked with Aamir speaks about the Mr. Perfectionist. “Aamir is the most brilliant filmmaker I have ever come across. He has got the mind of marketing, filmmaking and everything. I am glad I have worked with Aamir,” says the director. Speaking about the sudden change in Bollywood he says, “Audiences have changed; so the industry has changed. It really feels great to see a great future ahead of us. I really hope Delhi Belly has changed the audience. For me, the movie is something else. I made it purely from my heart and made it with no holds barred. I was not trying to change the Indian film industry with Delhi Belly. I made it as it was written. ”

Speaking about the audience, the director says, “You need to prepare some special package for the audience which are the youth. I am not talking about films with bad language or sensuality. I am talking about the different way to look at films. Real films also can be extremely interesting and they can still have a strong sense of reality to it. At the same time they can have some real humor. We tried pushing things like that so it looks real and entertaining too. ”

Talking about the MAMI he says, How do you see MAMI this time? “MAMI is great; it automatically changes our mind. Some incredible films are shown here. To be very honest I do not think that it helps people get into the industry but yes it is an interesting medium of awareness. It’s great to see some international films coming on our way. It makes people aware of the industry and marketing. MAMI has a great credibility to be the best film festival. You can interact with producers and distributors. You can see some great films which do not even release,” concludes Deo.
