The most awaited baby of Bollywood is on its way with former beauty queen and Bachchan Bahu Aishwarya entering her final trimester. Mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan is hosting an extravagant baby shower on 18th October, Tuesday to gather blessings for the mother to be and her unborn kid.

The ceremony is supposed to take place at their residence Jalsa and most of the Bollywood biggies are expected to grace the occasion. A source to a daily said, "The Bachchans are known to be very traditional. They celebrate all traditions and customs in a grand manner. And the arrival of Abhishek`s baby calls for a major celebration, and the women of the family had been planning this for a long time. Ash, is due to deliver next month.” An elated grand-mom-to-be Jaya Bachchan is leaving no stone unturned to make the event a memorable one, for it will be a celebration to welcome her son’s first child.

“Jaya is planning everything down to the last detail - from the menu to what her bahu will wear, to the jewellery, singing and dancing. The event will be held in the afternoon. As per Indian customs, the girl leaves for her mother`s house after the baby shower. Ash will go to her mother`s house and the Rais will follow their own customs and traditions, but that will an intimate gathering of close friends and family members only," added the source.

The source added, "Jaya and Shweta are personally calling up their friends to invite them. The source adds, "The senior Bachchans are thrilled about Abhishek and Ash`s first child and their third grandchild and wanted to make it special. They want everyone to take part in the celebration."

Gauri Khan, Sussanne Roshan, Maanayata Dutt, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Sonali Bendre, Shrishti Arya, Kirron Kher, Mana Shetty, Kajol, Twinkle, Rinke Khanna, Sridevi, designer Ana Singh, and Kaajal Anand are expected to attend the function. Abhishek, who had been shooting in Jaipur for `Bol Bachchan` for over 50 days, flew in on Saturday morning. Abhishek`s sister Shweta Nanda flew in from Delhi to help her mom prepare for the big day.
