While Deepika Padukone's relationship with Ranbir Kapoor was common knowledge (as was their break-up), not much is know about her Nihar Pandya, her former boyfriend. That might to be change now, as Nihar is all set to star in a movie that will reveal what really led to their split.

The film, to be directed by Prashant Chaddha (who worked with the actress in one of her earliest music videos), will have Nihar playing himself and looking back on how his equation with Deepy soured.

Deepika and Nihar first met at an acting institute and she is also believed to have stayed with his parents in his house when she first came to Mumbai. But Deepy never really spoke about the relationship, only saying that they were good friends.

Chaddha alleges that Deepika came back to Nihar after she broke up with Ranbir. Apparently, Nihar even confronted Ranbir. Chaddha claims that Deepy and Nihar got back together again, only to split up soon after.

The buzz is that Deepika is panicking about the movie, and that its controversial subject might lead to problems for the filmmaker. But Chaddha is reportedly keen to make the movie to show Nihar's side of the story.
