The movie, starring Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Kangana Ranaut, opened to a favourable response and did a business of Rs. 7.15 crore on Thursday, but its collection dipped on Friday (Rs. 5.15 crore). Saturday was still worse with Rs. 4.70 crore. The fall in the collection was arrested on Sunday when the business rose up again to touch the Rs 5.35 crore mark.

Summing together, the first (extended) weekend collection of the film is approximately between Rs. 22 to 23 crore, which is below average. The film was expected to cross the Rs. 30 crore mark in its four-day weekend. The other two releases of the week, Soundtrack and Love Breakups Zindagi fared poorly, though LBZ still managed to draw some footfalls.

Meanwhile, Force, starring John Abraham has continued to fall but almost managed to recover its cost with a business of over Rs. 23 crore. Well, the film’s crew even celebrated the film’s “success” recently. The coming week would see multiple releases, all small budget ones. The industry is now looking forward to the release of Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One on Diwali day, that is October 26.
