At a recent press conference, Shah Rukh Khan said that he is hugely indebted to Rajinikanth and his family and he will be visiting them this Sunday at their home in Poes Garden. His IPL team, Kolkata Knightriders will be playing in Chennai and he will be present for the match. He revealed that he had tears in his eyes when Rajini did a special appearance for Ra One. Soundarya had given SRK her word that Rajini will do the part while in Mumbai for the Rana shoot. This was cancelled but Soundarya kept her word.

Recently, SRK's kids Aryan and Suhana had wanted to watch Robot but nobody could get their hands on  a copy of the film. Hearing about this, Latha Rajinikanth had arranged for a copy to be sent to SRK's residence and the kids had been delighted. The Bollywood superstar said that he is in awe of Rajini and is honored to have shared screen space with him.
