Hongkong is Neha Dhupia's favourite terminus: For someone who has visited almost every country around the globe, Hongkong holds special memories for actress Neha Dhupia.

Though this is not the first time that she has visited the country, she still goes back looking for something new to cherish. “I have been travelling extensively and I really needed to unwind. Macau in Hongkong is one of the best places to relax and have a luxurious holiday. I love going to Hongkong because it has so much to offer to everyone who visits the country. During my stay there, I was put up at the City Of Dreams, a resort that caters to every imaginable leisure whim and has unlimited shopping opportunities. I went for relaxing massages and started my days with scrumptious breakfast.” Amazed and blown away by the infinite possibilities of the place, Neha says, “It’s a perfect destination for families. I have visited almost all the countries around the globe and this is one of the best places in the world.”

While Macau is known to be a gambler’s paradise, Neha is not much of a gambler though she did make her customary trip to the innumerable casinos. “I am not much of gambler but it is fun to try your hand at gambling. And clearly I was not the lucky one as I lost, but thankfully it wasn’t a big amount.” Shopping, sampling the local food and attending various entertainment shows are the highlights of the city, says Neha. “I went for ‘The House of Dancing Water’, a spectacular extravaganza, the world’s largest water-based show created by Franco Dragone. I have been in Bollywood and seen some of the most beautiful shows but none like this. It was an experience that will stay with me forever,” says Neha.

Walking down the streets of Macau is like wandering in some Portuguese town. While there, you cannot miss sampling the very famous Portugese Egg Tarts. “The egg tarts are simply mouth-watering. It is basically a pastry crust that is filled with egg custard, which is then baked and served. The place is also good to pick up small souvenirs and knick knacks to take back home,” she smiles.
