There is a time when everybody is a rookie. They don't know what to do, and they don't know how to go about things and are extremely guarded about themselves. Actor Minissha Lamba says that her forthcoming film portrays her in exactly that light - a newcomer thrown into a fashion show and someone who doesn't have a clue about what to do.

"My circumstances throw me into a beauty pageant and I don't know what to do in it. It's like a local beauty pageant where I have to walk the ramp to save the situation. I just do an extempore catwalk. I think that is one of the most interesting parts of the film," says Minissha about her upcoming film Hum, Tum Shabana that also stars Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor. The actor says that it is an out-and-out comedy film which revolves around the three characters in the film.

"Of course, it is also a triangular love story where I manage to win the affection of both the boys and the hilarious circumstances that follow from there. Both Tusshar and Shreyas are real pranksters and they used to play pranks with me all the time. Some of the pranks that we pulled on each other when we were not shooting have also been incorporated into the film (probably in the end credits). The footage is hilarious and we felt that we should keep them," she adds.

After Hum Tum Shabana, Minissha is playing the role of a journalist in her upcoming film Joker. Surprisingly, she says that she could relate to the role rather easily. "I have been seeing journalists from close quarters since a real long time, so I have the adequate homework on the character. It's also a very interesting role where I have been very satisfied with my performance as an actor. Working with Shirish Kunder was also a great experience for me," she says. Another film that she is looking forward to is Zilla Ghaziabad. "It's a political thriller and it is a very serious role and I am really looking forward to what audience says after seeing me," she says.
