Indian opener and Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir insisted that he has completely recovered from the concussion he sustained during the recent tour of England. "I am 100 per cent fit and that is why I was playing," he said after the Kolkata Knight Riders lost to Somerset by five wickets on Sunday.
Gambhir was out for a duck in his IPL team's loss to Somerset in the Champions League Twenty20. Gambhir, who didn't compete in the event's qualifying stages due to the concussion, said his team would look to rectify the mistakes made in the match against Somerset.
"The way they batted in the first six overs, it took the game away from us. But I think we did really well to take the game to the last over. So, there are a lot of positives from this game. Hopefully, we don't make the same mistakes that we made today. Hopefully, we will try and come back hard," he said.
