Ranbir Kapoor and Director Imtiaz Ali visited the majestic Ganesh Idol at RK Studios on Chembur on Sunday morning to seek His blessings for the release of their forthcoming film 'Rockstar'.
Accompanied by Hiren Gandhi of Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision, Ranbir & Imtiaz arrived at RK Studios in the morning at 10am. After offering their prayers to Lord Ganpati, they even placed the film's music CD at His feet for blessings. The actor - director duo along with Hiren Gandhi did the Ganesh Aarti, after which they posed for the shutterbugs and then stepped down from the magnificently decorated pandal. They then proceeded towards a separate room where they spoke to the media about the movie - what it's about, their experience of working together, the music of the film, etc.
Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision and Eros International, 'Rockstar' revolves around the journey of a Delhi boy who resents the fact that he has no pain in his life. He has realized that all great Musicians have had a painful life. In order to get his heart broken, he proposes to the most sought-after girl in Delhi University. The story of ' Rockstar ' is the seven years of the boy's life and relationship with the girl at the end of which he does become a huge musical star, but his heart also gets broken... The music of the film is by AR Rahman. Rockstar is slated to release on 11.11.11.
