After courting all kinds of controversies filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has finally worked out a schedule for ‘Heroine’ from start to finish. He has also announced his next project ‘Fashion Part 2’. His superhit film ‘Fashion’ that was released in 2008 won many accolades and critical acclaim. The ace director is all set to bring out its sequel after he is done with ‘Heroine’.
His production house Bhandarkar Entertainment will be co-producing the critical sequel along with UTV Motion Pictures. A source told a daily, "Bhandarkar and UTV`s head honcho Ronnie Screwala were both very keen to make the second part of Fashion. Fashion did really well and also earn the lead actress Priyanka Chopra a lot of critical acclaim. Looks like finally, Bhandarkar and Screwvala will have their dream come true. They have decided to launch the second part of Fashion in 2012."
On the other hand ‘Heroine’ is all set to go on the floors in November with the new lead actress Kareena Kapoor. "Fashion Part 2 will go on floors in December 2012," added the source. But the question is will Priyanka Chopra be casted in the fashion sequel? This is yet to be decided. "The cast has not been finalised. Bhandarkar will zero down on a few names and then shortlist them. Right now, he is totally focused on Heroine," said the source to a daily.
