Salman off to the US to 'fix the short circuit' in his nerveActor Salman Khan has left for the United States to undergo a complicated nerve surgery, late last night. The actor is suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia, a nerve disorder that causes intense pain in the face. The Dabangg star tweeted: "Challo see you guys. On my way to fix the short circuit in my nerve , take care and hope you like Bodyguard." The ailing Salman will miss the release his film Bodyguard on Eid this Wednesday. Bodyguard, also starring Kareena, is a big-ticket release. Salman has been missing the promotions of the film and was absent from the preview show as well. Fans and well-wishers who throng the actor's Bandra residence in Mumbai in large numbers will miss him at the Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year. Salman is known for his very public celebration of both festivals. Salman, who was scheduled to go to the US last weekend, postponed the trip due to the then impending Hurricane Irene. Earlier, Salman's real-life bodyguard Shera said that Salman was suffering from acute pain in his jaw.
