‘Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had introduced her to Bollywood as Chanda in Dev D and in the process fell in love with her and eventually married her. But Kalki Koechlin says that her husband is quite harsh at times. "Anurag is my biggest critic. He gives me his feedback," said Koechlin, who has done three films with her husband.

"In fact, just recently, I finished writing a script and I showed it to him. He didn't approve it outright. He told me that there are some brilliant things in it, but it is like different scenes and not a story coming together. So he has asked me to work on it. He is pretty harsh that way," added the 28-year-old.

Koechlin will now be seen in Kashyap's That Girl In Yellow Boots. Kashyap had said that he would not want to work with Kalki on such dark films because it hampers their personal relationship. Asked on her husband's comments, Koechlin said: "When we were shooting the film, we did not talk to each other and even though we are happy with what we have done together, there was a lot of intense arguments."
