Akshay Kumar, who had gone for a lean physique in his last film Brothers, in which he had played a mixed martial artist, will be next seen playing the antagonist in South superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film Robot 2 and we hear that Akki will be bulking up for the role. A source attached to the film revealed that the Khiladi Kumar, who is known for his action scenes and his stunts, will be seen playing a robot in the film and that he will put on weight for the role. The film will also star Amy Jackson, who reportedly had suggested Akshay's name for the role after the plans of the makers to sign up Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger did not work out. Akshay will be next seen in Airlift, which releases on January 22.
