Aditya Chopra is returning to director’s chair after a long gap with a project close to his heart titled Befikre. A few days back, grapevine started buzzing that ex-flame Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh will be seen romancing in the film but now the rumour mills are churning that it is Shuddh Desi Romance fame Vaani Kapoor, who has been roped for the project. However, there haven’t been any confirmations as yet. After her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, Vaani has been away from the industry from quite long. The actress has however done a Tamil film titled ‘Aha Kalyanam’, which was also produced by Aditya Chopra. The film was a remake of Band Baaja Baaraat, which starred Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. Vaani was seen essaying the role of the NH10 actress in the Tamil remake. If the rumours materialise, this would be Vaani’s second project in Bollywood. It is being said that the actress is under a three-film contract with YRF. Hence, there is a great probability that she grabs this project.
