After his much controversial stint in the reality show 'Bigg Boss', Armaan Kohli is now gearing up for his second innings in Bollywood. Popularly known for his role in Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, Armaan Kohli will now been seen in a negative role in the upcoming Sooraj Barjatya film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Armaan Kohli, however has dedicated his fresh start in Bollywood to Salman Khan. The actor met Salman during the shoot of 'Bigg Boss', a reality show inspired from its English counterpart 'Big Brother'. Though he hails from a respectable Bollywood family, Armaan Kohli was away from Bollywood for almost a decade, until he decided to make an appearance once again in the reality show.

 

While Armaan Kohli became a household name with 'Bigg Boss', he was caught up in many controversies including his involvement with Tanisha Mukerji, sister of popular actress Kajol, and was even arrested for assaulting fellow participant and British-Pakistani actress Sofia Hayat. Currently, Armaan Kohli is in high spirits owing to his role in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer and has expressed his gratitude towards the superstar for recommending him for the role. The actor has already started working out for his role and is currently on zero carb diet for the same. Armaan Kohli, who is known for his temper issues, has also mentioned that he will be working on it and will make the best of his new innings in Bollywood.  Produced by Rajshri Productions and Fox Star Studios, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo will see Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan collaborating after 15 years (after Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1999). The film stars Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar, Deepak Dobriyal among others and is slated to release in November 2015.
