Actor- producer Shreyas Talpade during a promotional event of his upcoming film 'Poshter Boyz' said that he is doing Marathi films out of interest and not due to lack of work in Bollywood. With his reality show 'Zhunj Marathmoli' going strong on Marathi television, his 'Poshter Boyz' releasing early next month and his superhero film 'Baji' slated to release next year, Shreyas' kitty is full with Marathi projects for now. There were murmurs in the media that Shreyas has taken up a lot of work in Marathi due to back to back failures in Bollywood. The actors who has been a part of some of the biggest blockbusters like 'Om Shanti Om', 'Golmaal Returns', 'Golmaal 3', 'Housefull 2' and others hasn't seen a hit film in Bollywood for sometime now.
However, stating that he has some good projects lined up in Bollywood too, Shreyas rubbished these claims and called them figments of someone's imagination. He said, "I am not doing Marathi due to lack of work in Bollywood. I have a few Bollywood projects in the pipeline. I am emotionally connected with Marathi as I started my career from here. I have always looked for a good opportunity to do some work in Marathi." Shreyas's home production 'Poshter Boyz' will see actors Dilip Prabhavalkar, Hrishikesh Joshi and Aniket Vishwasrao as protagonists. Actresses Neha Joshi and Pooja Sawant also play important roles in the film.
