Jaipur boy to make his Bollywood debut with Onir’s film

Shray Rai Tiwari has been roped in for Onir's upcoming film - Shab - based on the complexities of relationships. All set for his Bollywood debut, Jaipur boy Shray says, "Onir is a great director and I feel honoured to be a part of his project. The film talks about human relationships and the harsh realities of the glam world. I'm playing a Delhi brat called Nishant, who is very easy-going and carefree. He doesn't care about people and relationships, but only believes in living life to its fullest." Onir also seems quite impressed with the actor, and he recently praised him on a social networking site, saying, "Happy to have found the confident and energetic Shray Rai Tiwari as Nishant of Shab.

Love the way you have surrendered yourself to the character. Looking forward to shooting with you (sic)." The first schedule of the film, which also stars Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Suri, Ashish Bisht and French actor Simon Frenay, begins in Delhi today. Onir says, "The film is set in Delhi, where people from small cities come to fulfil their dreams. Some emerge as winners while a few of them surrender to the circumstances." After Delhi, the crew will move to Mussoorie. Shray was last seen in a video by the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), promoting 'free and equal' campaign for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. The Rajasthan University graduate has done many TV and print ads, and has also won a reality show in 2012.
