Want to live like a star? Join Imran Khan and other Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma, Salman Khan and others, as each of them make a devoted fan’s dream of living the life of his/her favourite star, come true. Live My Life is a 13-week series about a fan’s route to glamour, and stardom, so what if it’s just for a while.

Star’s life for a day!

The whole day will be planned by the star for his fan. It will have special surprises in store a phone call, a note, a video message and a session with some of the star’s friends and professional associates like the dress designer, hairstylist, nutritionist and more. The final event is the interaction with the star over a meal, a drive or possibly a walk under the stars.

The first episode of the series, to be telecast on UTV Stars this Sunday, will feature the blue-eyed boy of Bollywood, Imran Khan and his 19-year-old psychology student fan Rhea from Chennai. A diehard fan of Imran’s, who has seen most of his films, including Jane Tu Yah Jane Na, I Hate Luv Stories and Delhi Belly several times, she uses her interest in poetry to profess her love for the dashing actor.

It was Imran himself who planned her detailed itinerary for an entire day — a script reading session with I Hate Luv Stories director Punit Malhotra, a complete makeover, a mock media interaction session and a surprise visit by Imran himself over dinner in the hotel where she was put up.

When asked why he chose Rhea from scores of his fans, Imran says he had interacted with her on twitter and she was a regular on his fan site. “When the channel approached me, I thought of Rhea because I found her familiar with my work, very intelligent and just like me — shy and reserved. I left a message for her but she didn’t revert for five days. When we were about to go in for another fan, she got in touch and was called to Mumbai,” elaborates Imran.

Rhea says it was a big surprise to read Imran’s message for her about the show. “Luckily the spot was open. The experience was beyond my wildest dreams. Meeting him in person was amazing. I am not a camera person but he made me relax and calmed me down,” she adds. Imran says his wife Avantika helped him plan the itinerary for Rhea. “She gave ideas and suggestions. I wanted Rhea to face a mock media interaction just to make her experience what’s it is like to face a barrage of questions,” he says with his shy smile.
