Recently, we told you how unprofessional Nargis Fakhri has been. She had given dates to the remake of the 1982 film Shaukeen opposite Akshay Kumar. However, she asked the filmmakers to revise her dates as she got a Hollywood offer from director Paul Feig. What more, she chose Hollywood over Bollywood as she’s American and informed Shaukeen makers at the last minute. Of course, this didn’t go down well with the makers and they dropped her out of the film. But what we also heard is that Akshay Kumar is quite miffed with Nargis and here’s why.
The story goes like this. The Rockstar babe, whose B-town career has barely taken off yet had expressed the desire to work with Akshay. So his production house signed a three-film deal with her. It was Akshay who suggested her name for Shaukeen remake. Reportedly, Nargis was supposed to play Akshay's leading lady in Khiladi 786 (2012). Reports said that she was dropped out as she was too fair and attractive to play Mithun Chakraborty’s sister in the film. However, she was dropped out as her managing agency was acting too high-handed and demanding.
Well, we think that Nargis is acting too pricey, ain’t she? And we understand why Akshay is angry with the firangi babe. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed that her Hollywood debut isn’t as bad as her Bollywood one. And that she’s made a wise choice by opting for a small Hollywood role over a full-fledged Bollywood one. We’re sure not many Bollywood filmmakers will be keen on working with this American lady. For one, she hasn’t proven her acting prowess yet and two, she’s already acting pricey.
