Huma Qureshi zoomed into Bollywood with GANGS OF WASSEYPUR and EK THI DAAYAN, and received plenty of accolades for her performance in her last-released flick DEDH ISHQIYA. The actress, who shared the screen with senior actors like Madhuri Dixit, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi in the film, admitted that she is not someone who was insecure about it. "Honestly speaking, I have never felt insecure in Bollywood. I am not an insecure person. Rather, I feel inspired when I see good films and work. And it is rather encouraging to work with such people because you get to learn many things," reveals Huma.
A lot has been said about the difficulties faced by newcomers trying to make it big in Bollywood. Ask Huma, who is relatively new in the industry, to express her opinion about it and she says, "Bollywood has always been open for newcomers. You are your own Godfather and mentor. You work harder and longer, only then you will achieve what you want. And I do not believe in the fact that the star kids have an easy life. They work equally hard to strike the right chord with the audience. The only advantage for them is that they know everybody and they don't have to spend time making contacts." Meanwhile, Huma is currently busy shooting for X opposite Anshumann Jha and is also rumoured to have signed a YRF film.
