Sanjay Dutt's parole has caused furor among the masses with a lot of groups making accusations towards the Maharashtra Government for frequently granting leave to the actor and constantly extending it. While recently Sanjay Dutt's parole has been extended to March 21, this time around, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has demanded a detailed explanation report from the Maharashtra Government.

 

Actor Dutt has been serving imprisonment for illegal possession of arms and ammunition during the 1993 blasts, at the Yerawada jail. He has been granted a parole for over three times out of which, once was owing to his own health conditions. The other time, he had requested for a parole, it was for taking care of his twin children as his wife Manyata was diagnosed with a serious ailment and was hospitalized.  However, after extending this parole for the second time, the actor has been under the radar of some political groups who have been questioning the decision of Maharashtra Government.
