The now pregnant actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been maintaining a low profile ever since the news of her pregnancy was made public by her father-in-law actor Amitabh Bachchan at a social networking site. Apparently, Ash does not want to attract unwanted attention to herself and prefers staying within the comfort of her house if not for important events. The former Miss World was seen recently on her return to Mumbai from Delhi at the airport after she refused to accept the French honour following the Mumbai Blasts last month.

Sporting a loose fitted tee and denims, Ash could not help but reveal her baby bump that was clearly visible. While showing off baby bumps has become a trend and one that can fetch the couple in question a large sum of money for posing on the covers of mags, many celebrities in Bollywood and Hollywood have succumbed to this as well. Sources say that Ash had declined to do a photo shoot for an international magazine where she was asked to flaunt her baby bump. A source close to Ash says, “Ash has always been a private person and would never consider doing something like this. Even when Aishwarya got married to Abhishek, a lot of magazines approached them for the exclusive rights to their wedding pictures, but none were entertained. The Bachchans are very particular about keeping their personal lives personal and strictly guarded.”
