The surprise hit of 2013, 6-5=2, the Kannada horror flick, which was loved by both audiences and critics alike, will be remade in Hindi. The remake right of the film has been acquired by producer Bharat Jain. Ever since it was released on November 29, Kannada film 6-5=2 has become a sensation across the state. The film takes its inspiration from the 1999 American independent film Blair Witch Project. The Kannada film has done business beyond expectations and is said to have garnered Rs 1.5 crore in the first two weeks of its release. The film, made on a shoe-string budget of Rs 30 lakh, has been pushed up to 'gold class' in a few multiplexes after its phenomenal success.
