Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has reportedly filed an application for a 30-day extension of his parole, after learning from the doctors that his wife Manyata has tuberculosis. A leading publication reported that Dutt had filed a plea for parole extension three days ago, but submitted a letter, along with Manyata's health report, onJanuary 10. However, the divisional commissioner of Pune will decide on the parole extension plea. Manyata, who has been diagnosed with a tumour in the liver and a suspected heart ailment, was admitted to a hospital on January 8. Dutt, who is undergoing the remainder of his five-year jail term at Yerawada Central Jail in Pune in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, is currently out on a 30-day parole.
