The English Vinglish star’s 16-year-old daughter has reportedly been flooded with lucrative film offers from Tollywood. Will the aspiring starlet start her filmi career down South, or wait for a big banner Hindi film? From dance and diction classes to sweating it out at the gym, Boney Kapoor Sridevi’s older daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to see that she makes her filmi debut in full form. Last year, rumour mills were abuzz with news that the gal would make her debut in a Karan Johar film. Our buddie the birdie insists that KJo has assured Sri and Boney that he will launch Jhanvi, but only when the time is right. But Jhanvi’s protective mother has always made it very clear that her daughter won’t be seen on the big screen too soon, at least not before she is done with her education.

 

 

Now according to a report, Sri’s sweet child has been receiving several film offers from the South, where mother dearest herself started her rise to filmi stardom. Buzz hai ki producers want Jhanvi to star opposite Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan (Zanjeer, anyone?) and do a film with Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya. But considering the Chaalbaaz actor’s statement regarding her beti, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a while to see the young Ms K shine on 70 mm. Considering the fact that the 50-year-old superstar made her film debut when she was very young, we wouldn’t be too surprised if the Kapoor khandaan suddenly announced Jhanvi’s debut – in the South or in B-town.
