Kushal Tandon was evicted from Bigg Boss 7 yesterday in mid-week eliminations, but clearly there is something more to it than meets the eye. Gauahar Khan, Kushal and Ajaz Khan were nominated this week, and it was decided that two out of these three would be ejected from the house and the show. We heard that the makers of Bigg Boss 7 initially decided to eliminate Ajaz rather than Kushal on Wednesday, but the plan changed – instead, Ajaz stays on a while longer. All this, courtesy the Armaan Kohli -Sofia Hayat episode.
You will remember that when Armaan allegedly hit Sofia, it was Kushal and Gauahar who advised her to go to the media and the police once she left the house. And Sofia followed their advice and filed a police complaint. Five days after this, the police arrived at the Bigg Boss house and took Armaan into custody. Mr Kohli was soon released on bail and returned to the house the next day. And there was more. Reportedly the host of Bigg Boss 7 Salman Khan was also dragged into the controversy and asked to appear in court as one of the witnesses in the case.
Sallu might not have expected to be embroiled in another legal battle after his own woes with the law. We hear that all of this has seriously irked Salman. The Dabangg Khan, who quite obviously has been annoyed with Kushal and Gauahar has taken a strong and final stand this time and refuses to share screen space with either Kushal or Gauahar from now on. This is why Kushal instead of Ajaz was evicted in mid-week elimination.
