It seems no one bit into Vishwas Patil's tale of a nautch girl on a journey to find love. The film sank to the bottom of the ocean to finally lie atop a pile of Bollywood flops. Rajjo barely made a mark at the box office, earning as little as Rs.1.5 crore on Friday and barely touching Rs.2 crore on Saturday. These figures left the Kangana Ranaut starrer at a defeated total of Rs.3.5 crore for two days. Taking in view the disappointing reviews it got from the start, and finally playing alongside a hit-in-the-making 'Ram-Leela', this fate was inescapable. While 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' jogged ahead with a profit of Rs.52.5 crore in its first weekend, Rajjo lagged behind with an appalling Rs.3.5 crore. To hope for any better from this movie would be like taking aim in a dark room - totally pointless.
