After Shah Rukh Khan, writer of Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ will be in town over the weekend scouting around for new talent for his directorial debut. If you are one of those true-blue Bollywood fans who’ve always nurtured a dream to be part of the Hindi film industry but not managed to do anything about it until now, well, here’s a chance to make it come true. All you need to do is brush up your Hindi, dress up, and head to Ramee Royal Hotel in Bur Dubai for an audition this weekend. Writer of Salman Khan’s ‘Ready’ is keen on casting for his directorial debut titled ‘India Mein Lahore’ from Dubai.
Director
Iqram Akhtar believes his script demands a “fresh” line-up. He is scouting for three male actors and one female actor. He will also
finalise a handful of supporting cast, who need to be aged between five years and 50 years, as well. The audition will be held over three days – October 12 to 14, from
10am to
8pm. Those interested need to e-mail
[email protected] or dial 056 7959018. Dubai residents earlier got similar opportunities when director Farah Khan auditioned and even cast a few residents in her next movie ‘Happy New Year’, that also features stalwarts like Shah
Rukh Khan,
Boman Irani,
Abhishek Bachchan and
Deepika Padukone.
